Ok. This will be mostly text, so let me answer directly.
Some people call me ‘smug’. When what I really am, is proud.
I’m proud of myself. I’m proud of being me. And that’s something most people needs to learn.
Life is hard, yes. But it’s WAY easier when you dare facing your mistakes, and celebrating your success.
People wastes a lot of time avoiding and apologizing for what they did wrong.
And they don’t even enjoy what they did right, to look ‘humble’.
I’m all I have. Yeh, sounds weird, but I say proudly I’m my first treasure.
Friends are important, but if I didn’t had myself, I couldn’t be there for them and help them when they need it. How could I help them if I were a mess myself?
My family, just the same. If I didn’t took care of myself, I couldn’t be there for them.
So yeh, the real me is kinda ‘smug’. But not the ‘jerk smug’ guy. I simply respect myself, and enjoy what I do right.
And Shen is basicly the same, he’s proud of himself, and he’s proud of what he can do. So, he enjoys life, and the pleasures it can bring, always comfy with it.
If that’s some kind of problem… deal with it. Shen and I will continue to be proud of being who we are.
TL;DR: Not the bad kind of smug, just proud and happy.
If I want to show off, I burn up into a white/gold flame,Then just materialize whenever I was going. Just a teleport with more visuals.
